A soft, smooth perfume from beyond the stars.

Soothing, yet quietly curiosity-piquing, Gibeon takes its name from a meteorite whose story feels almost mythic. Long before it was catalogued by Western science in 1836, this celestial traveler had already made its mark—literally—upon the earth. Its prehistoric crash-landing in Namibia scattered iron fragments across the Kalahari Desert, where, for centuries (perhaps even millennia), the local Nama people shaped the fallen metal into tools and spearheads. What arrived as something otherworldly became deeply human: handled, repurposed, woven into daily life.

This interplay between the cosmic and the intimate is at the heart of Gibeon. The fragrance doesn’t attempt to replicate the meteorite itself; instead, it captures its aura—the quiet wonder of something ancient, enigmatic, and gently powerful.

The scent opens with a soft luminosity. Neroli lends a delicate brightness, airy and almost translucent, while Ceylon cinnamon introduces a subtle warmth, like sunlight diffused through desert haze. There’s no sharp contrast here—just a gradual unfolding, inviting rather than announcing.

At its heart, the composition deepens into a more textured, contemplative space. Bulgarian rose adds a refined floral richness, balanced by the earthy, slightly green character of Singaporean patchouli. Tuscan orris brings a powdery elegance, evoking the mineral softness of dust and time—an echo, perhaps, of the meteorite’s long journey and quiet resting place.

The base is where Gibeon fully settles into itself. Australian sandalwood and cedarwood provide a smooth, grounding foundation, their woody tones both calming and enduring. Musk lingers like a second skin, while Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean introduce a gentle sweetness—never overpowering, but softly enveloping, like warmth radiating from sun-heated stone.

Gibeon is not a fragrance that demands attention. Instead, it draws you inward. It’s a scent of stillness and story, of ancient matter transformed into something deeply sensory. Like the meteorite that inspired it, it feels both distant and close—an artifact of the universe, reimagined as something quietly, beautifully human.
